*The Father of Symphony*
Joseph Haydn “Sonata” The Season of Autumn
Haydn was an Austrian composer. He known as one of the most important composer of his time and of the classical period. Mr. Haydn may also be known to some as the Father Symphony and “Father of the String Quartet” due to great genres he used. The theme of musical form is called Sonata. Sonata is a musical form that made a huge impact on The Classical period. This musical form is used with piece music for a keyboard, solo music, and piano. It started out as an three movement work. After that it turned into a four movement work. It even helped organize the movement for symphony. This music brought great sheet music and showed how opera can be so wonderful to watch. I’m very glad during this era that the piano came about. The piano has away of speaking to one in such an amazing way without words or with. I believe during this time the middle class was able to listen to some excellent music that made them feel maybe in an upper class. It most likely provide everyone to come together in this era and enjoy music. The music that I selected below I’ve heard before in choir back in Middle School. It was very different yet interesting to listen to and have an ear to another kind of music.
“The Season of Autumn” is the song playing in the video I got from YouTube.com.
